Author and Illustrator: Ezra Jack Keats
This was a beautiful story about friendship. The journey of two boys and their discovery of a pair of goggles and their way of hiding from the bullies that are trying to take their precious goggles. With their dog by their side they end up safly coming back together again. The story shows what people will do for friendship, and shows how bullying is bad, and fighting a way out of a situation is good. This book would be good for ages 2-6 and could be read alone or in a group. Well written, beautiful pictures, an excelent read!
This book is definitely a great tale about how friends are always looking out for one another! The illustrations are bold and give life to the story. I would definitely recommend it.
